1^st verse

Tell the children- Jesus keeps the Passover and institutes the sacrament, then he takes his apostles to the Garden of Gethsemane.  He asks them to sit while he prays. They fall asleep. Matt 26:36-44

Jesus climbed the hill to the garden still

 

His steps were heavy and slow

 

Love and a prayer took him there to a place only he could go

Tell the children - Jesus actually goes to pray three times asking the Father, “If it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt… Thy will be done. Matt. 26: 39, 42.
